Which computer do you need?

Hello guys, and welcome at another blogpost, some people don't know which computer they should buy, so lets find out!

The most important thing is to ask yourself, so I need a desktop or a laptop? Well that depends, for what to you want to use your computer? Are you travelling a lot, if you do, I should defenitly go for the laptop because its nice to have all your files with you when you're away from home. If you want a desktop, but need a laptop, you can buy an external monitor, mouse and keyboard and just connect them to your laptop. You will het the desktop experience, but if you need to leave, you can just grab your laptop and leave.

If you don't need a laptop, just don't buy one, unless you really want to because desktops are more easy to repair, and to upgrade. Mostly desktops have more power because there is more space for a bigger processor, GPU and motherboard. They do take a lot of space in your room, but if you're managing everything nice, and find a nice spot for your desktop it would't really be a problem.

The OS is very important for a lot of people, and there are 4 more known operating systems. Chrome, Windows, OS X and Linux (mostly Ubuntu). You can buy a Chromebook, but keep in mind, they aren't really powerful machines. With a Chromebook its al based on cloudstorage, so most Chromebooks only have 16 gb or 32 gb of internal storage. You can of course buy a Mac, but the cheapest is the Mac Mini for 499 euro's. So if you're on  a tight budget I would buy a PC, because you can get low end PC's for around 300 euro's in the Netherlands. And if you want Ubuntu, you can just download the operating system from their website free of charge, burn it on a disc, or put it on a pendrive and just install it.
